  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all the dry ingredients.
  2. In a measuring cup, mix together all the wet ingredients.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until everything is well combined and no dry spots remain.
  4. Form into a ball and drizzle the whole thing with olive oil.
  5. Drizzle a little more olive oil on a half sheet pan . You might want to use parchment paper or nonstick foil on the pan and then oil that paper or foil.
  6. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  7. Spread dough on pan. If you like a thick crust, leave it thick. We like it thin and I spread this dough over the entire pan.
  8. Using a fork, prick hole all over the crust. I mean all over. Lots of holes.
  9. Bake until just starting to brown, about 10 minutes.
  10. Add toppings and bake until everything is hot or cheese is browned and bubbly (if using cheese). You are going to have to let it cool for a few minutes before you dig in.
